At around the same time that I got into Hikaru Utada's discography, I came across an equally important artist whose voice and versatility are severely overlooked. To put it simply, Ken Hirai deserves his flowers too.

While I've manifested for these artists to collaborate at some point. I also realized that this would probably never happen now, so I decided to do it myself. The third mashup was completed in my living room with next to no sleep, its other half in the journalism lounge on my university campus. Surely it's just a coincidence that "L'amant" and "Sunglasses" were released four months apart.

Try as I might, none of these mashups made it onto the final cut of an album I'm releasing later this month. But no DMCA could justify the amount of love that was poured into this project, let alone the amount of love I will continue to have for the music that made it possible.
